The strategy is to provide convenience and a pleasant environment for the Bank’s cherished customers to perform banking transactions. Mr. Sarpong said “the branding of this branch is an example of the new face of GCB.”
He said the Bank as part of the strategy is training branch staff in order to equip them with the requisite skills to provide excellent service to customers.
Under this initiative, Mr Sarpong said, customer service is being offered training to front line staff of over 50 branches.
Chief Baba Issah, Chairman of the Council of Ayawaso Muslim Chiefs, in his address, said the Nima community is a diverse one which could benefit immensely from banking.
He appealed to the Board and Management of GCB to extend its social responsibility programmes to the community by supporting the less endowed in education in the community.
