It is an electronic
transfer and payment of funds at any branch of GCB. The product is restricted to
Ghana and is targeted at both customers of the Bank as well as non-customers.

GCB Xpress Money Transfer is targeted at traders who travel distances to buy and sell within the country. Parents can use the product to remit their wards in schools and parents from time to time.

International Services
FOREX ACCOUNT
This is a foreign exchange account which is domiciled in Ghana. Fed with lodgments from local sources and inward transfers, the account is used essentially for domestic transactions. However in order to transfer funds offshore, one would be required to submit appropriate documentation in line with exchange control regulations.
FOREIGN ACCOUNT
This account can be operated only with monies transferred directly from abroad i.e. offshore funds. It may be operated by all categories of customers resident and non-resident in Ghana. The account cannot be funded with currency purchased from forex bureau or other local sources. It can be used to effect payment outside Ghana without any exchange control restrictions.
MONEY TRANSFER
Inward and outward remittances are done on behalf of customers and non-customers alike, in the major foreign currencies.
